the impermanent human

walking with others through life, death, grief, and the beauty of impermanence.

About The Impermanent Human

The Impermanent Human was born in the quiet, fragile space between my mother’s final heartbeat and her final breath.

The Impermanent Human is my destiny and purpose:

A space where we can talk about death and dying, so we can live more fully and fear less.

A space for walking alongside people through the rawness of grief, the threshold of endings, and the beauty of impermanence.

I created The Impermanent Human because I have felt the final heartbeat of someone I love and walked through the darkness of grief and found meaning there.

I believe that speaking openly about death helps us live more fully and no one should face the end of life — their own or a loved one’s — feeling alone or unprepared.
